TO UPLIFT AND EMPOWER IPUA MEMBERSHIP AND NDI-IGBO IN GENERAL MISSION TO CREATE THE ENABLING ENVIRONMENT TO HELP GROUP MEMBERS AND OTHER IGBO TO ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS OBJECTIVES

IPUA engages in fundraising activities to support carefully identified target initiatives for economic growth within Igbo Communities. In addition, IPUA plans to enhance regional economic growth and manpower development through advocacy for appropriate select government policies. These fundraising activities are mostly embedded in seminars, conferences and certain social events that portend knowledge enhancement for members and attending guests. IPUA events feature periodic partnership with reputable high institutions, distinguished guest speakers with name recognition, and relevant industry specialists.
IPUA’s mission is built on total commitment to economic development of the Igbo, utilizing knowledge economy, and identifying willing Igbo professionals for a seamless team work that yields measurable achievements. |
ABOUT US Igbo Progressive Union Atlanta (IPUA) was founded in 2012 as a nonprofit organization. Membership constitutes people of Igbo descent resident in the State of Georgia, USA. Membership is also open to men and women connected to people of Igbo decent by marriage. Membership is by referral and invitation, and membership drive targets qualifying persons with requisite regard for integrity, discipline and records of motivational involvement in communal development. Potential member approval is high for those who demonstrate willingness to join a team of Igbo professionals in Georgia to harness our individual knowledge assets and enterprising skills to economically empower the IPUA family as well as contribute towards a robust economy within the Diaspora Igbo Community, and the home land.
